ONE TO TREE
TICK....................
Do you see me,hear me?
Perhaps while I sleep
Beneath arms so old
Ever skyward they creep.
Many wives you must have had
With all those rings around your core,
A polygamist most definitely
For my sake I hope there's more.
Strength is your asset
Against heat,wind and snow,
All year you must fight them,
In Spring,you defeat them and grow.
You set my imagination racing
And for your beauty I'll hew,
Much that it saddens me greatly
You may not see your life through.

HEY,GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN
Hey,good to see you again,
Gosh it must be allmost a year.
Where've you been?What have you been up to?
You've been over the Atlantic I hear.
It was a shame about your parents dying
But I'm sure they'd be proud of you.
You've come back to the place of your birth
To make sure your genes carry through.
I hope your life turns out like you want it,
I hope you get what you strive for in your heart.
Life's a struggle and I see that you prove that.
But now it is time for me to depart.
And as I walk tearfully away from the waterfall,
It's good to see the salmon jumping again.

ALL IT TAKES IS A BEER
Apprehension as usual when I arrive in a new place.
Will they dislike me?Or will they accept a new face?
Bags unpacked,out of the hostel,it is then that I see,
That men,women and children are no different than me.
Find a bar or a pub,that is my first aim,
With a few pints in side me,I then have no shame.
Now my neurons are suppressed I wander free,unlike I did,
My soul comes to the fore and out yet again comes the kid.
And as I run around this city with the child in my eyes,
I don't see enough,experience enough because time it just flies.
Reality beckons.I must put away the child at last
Because now it is time for me to leave this city of Belfast.

LE GALL
I'm sat here in Le Gall,shaking and quivering
But I also feel your hand in mine.
The J.D. helped me calm down a little
But with you here I know I'll be fine.
Been here half an hour allready,
Getting courage to do what I came to do
............................................
OK people there's my stuff
Now please form an orderly queue.
Been upstairs and placed my three pieces,
The manager came up and said "Looks good".
Came back down and ordered another Jack Daniels
Just to celebrate.Come on now,don't you think I should?
Just done the J.D. and can feel it rushing through my body.
Feel like pounding the air,now my work is unfurled,
(replace the last word in the next sentence with Universe)
(but for it to rhyme),"I feel I could take on the world"
STOLEN
I'm kinda pissed off right now,
My mood changed ten minutes ago.
Came into "Le Gall" with the intention
Of swapping some of my pieces on show.
Only to find that "Snakes Alive" has gone missing,
They've hunted high and low to try to find it
But to no avail and that is why
My mood has changed from the high to feeling shit.
COME ON YOU PRAT!!!! Cheer yourself up.
They are only fucking sculptures,
You can find loads more wood like it,
It just proves that people are vultures.
Let them have it,lose the pain.
At least it shows your stuff is great.
So come on cheer up you prat,
Ahhhh come on cheer up mate.
I came back to remove the rest of my stuff,
An apology is all the boss proffers,
He says "lo siento" and it's never happend before.
But that's hardly gonna redeem my coffers.

LONELY
When you feel lonely thinkof me
But don't think of me with you,
Think of me when I'm lonely too.
Then work you're way through your friends
To the times you know they were alone
And to people you know or have heard of
Who've had times with no-one around.
Then start thinking that all of these people
Have had,are having and will have
The feelings you have at this moment
And then you must realise you are never alone.

When entering this place
To concentrate the mind
This chant it never stops
All thoughts are left behind
When cleared you open up
Your mind, body and soul
Why? The reason's simple
Make everything a whole.
